The hardest season is the one we don’t want to be in and never want to go through again.

Seasons change, it's inevitable and sometimes difficult to embrace. Life and death are two seasons that will never change. However, we can learn how to approach the different seasons of change that lie in between.
Hate is a strong word but I used to hate change in my life because it always hurt. The seasons of my life brought more stress and anxiety than happiness. I now understand that happiness is a choice and I am the only person responsible for my happiness. So, I choose to be happy.

Don't let circumstances or people control your emotions. When the season's change and things seem to be too much to handle, take time to reflect. Sometimes life's circumstances force us to find new ways of living. We try to control the situation instead of taking the time to fully understand it. Yes, it's frustrating but when you loosen the grip and try not to control the situation, you will be able to better understand it and grow.
Understand that every day you are blessed with the opportunity to invest in yourself. I learned to carve out time to reflect, pray, and listen for God to guide my steps. I would be so quick to move without His guidance and that would only make situations worse.
